This Vietnamese traditional Ao Dai wedding photo held deep meaning for the couple. For them, it evoked a strong sense of pride and a heartfelt connection to their Vietnamese heritage.

Dressed in traditional ao dai and standing on the front porch of an ancient house, they felt transported to another era. The photo gave them the impression of being a couple from centuries past, surrounded by the antique charm of old Ho Chi Minh City. It sparked emotions of nostalgia and beauty, reminding them of a history they never lived, but one they felt deeply connected to.

Vietnam wasn’t just a beautiful backdrop—it was a significant choice. For Taline and JC, selecting Ho Chi Minh City was both a personal and practical choice. As Taline’s home country, Vietnam offered a special connection. They described it as “a fun city to visit”, that’s “diverse” and “has everything we want for our photoshoot—from city to antique.” Because it’s one of their home countries, HCMC felt like the perfect fit.
